The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has filed a complaint against Binance for alleged regulatory violations.
An action civil was filed at the District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. The lawsuit was brought by Changpeng Zhao, Samuel Lim and three Binance companies.
It claimed that the defendants had illegally facilitated derivative and trading on commodities for U.S citizens.
