During the first weekend, Donald Trump’s NFT collection floor price fluctuated. The collection was sold out within hours of its release by the former president.
The so-called digital trading cards collection reached its peak at 0.839 Ethereum late Saturday afternoon. It has since fallen to 0.295ETH, according to data from OpenSea.
The total volume reached 5,824 ETH by Sunday afternoon. There have been 21,479 transactions.
The highest-selling NFT on OpenSea went for 37 ETH — or about $41,000 at current prices — on Saturday. The black-and white image shows Trump standing in front of a staircase in his tuxedo.
The first mint price was $99 for each card. There were sweepstake prizes, including a one-on-one with Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago and memorabilia that can be hand-signed. The collection also offered a chance to attend a South Florida gala dinner for those who purchased 45 NFTs.
Trump and the collection were spoofs in the opening segment on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
